tonite’s theme was “can i get a yeehaw?!?!” which is all about the country music, a little new, a little old… it went over very well, big attendance (it usually does!)… i never thought i would actually play country music much less like it, but it has really grown on me… not all of it… some of it, like any other kind of music is just stupid, but some of it is really well crafted and some of the voices are great…
another day of mostly hibernating (went up only for lunch, very early before it was crowded), and i loved it! phones were down, which was a drag, ‘til it was too late to call anyone… we stayed in our cabin and watched “black swan...” that was a dark little flick! natalie portman definitely deserved her oscar! she truly captured the high-strung, neurotic, must be perfect weirdness and barfiness of the ballet dancers’ world that i know from about 90% of the fine arts camp/college dancer types i’ve met… spooky! today is short cause i did so little, but the next few days will be epic… so stay tuned! cheers, me
